The business

A QBCC-licensed luxury custom design-and-construct builder in Brisbane, with site supervisors, estimators, admin and clients who want to know what's happening on their build.

The problem

The owner ran the business on a simple formula: hit a monthly revenue target at a set gross margin and everything above overheads is profit. But the numbers that decided it lived in a claims spreadsheet, a separate metrics file and the supervisors' heads. By the time the formula could be checked, the month was over.

What we built

The magic equation dashboard: revenue, GP%, overheads and pure profit against target, every fortnight, with a status marker on every job.
Claims and cashflow: that reconcile the contract programme, the claims board and the supervisor's real dates.
Site supervisor accountability: client updates, photos and safety walks tracked per job, per fortnight.
Client hub: selections and post-contract variations, priced, published and signed.
Accounts payable: AI invoice reading, cost-code matching, approval by value, subcontractor compliance, retention and Xero export.
